About
Established in 2003, Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation (AYTEF) is dedicated to offering tennis and education initiatives in vulnerable communities. Before the pandemic, AYTEF operated primarily at Washington Park Tennis Center, where we provided a complimentary after-school tennis academic program and organized Serve & Connect events, fostering unity among local youth and law enforcement through tennis and fellowship. Responding to pandemic-related challenges, AYTEF introduced new programming at Fair Oaks in December 2020.
AYTEF functions as a Sports Based Youth Development nonprofit, utilizing tennis as a catalyst for holistic growth in under-resourced youth. As a proud member of the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network, AYTEF receives essential support from the USTA Foundation at sectional, state, and local USTA levels. Presently, we serve approximately 400 youth annually at Fair Oaks Tennis Center, providing 46 weeks of tennis and enrichment through after-school and summer programming. In partnership with Cobb County Parks & Recreation and USTA Foundation, AYTEF has become a cornerstone of the community surrounding Fair Oaks, offering vital programs that benefit youth and families in transformative ways.
